Why must you talk about her so much?
Don't you see what it does to me?
I'm not as pretty, funny, sweet, perfect as her
She's twice as great as I'll ever be

How do I know this, you ask?
Well, because you tell me every day
I've heard just about everything about that girl
That you could possibly say

She's the past, can't you leave her there?
And think about me instead
I don't want to sound controlling
I just want her out of your head

Oh, how I hate ex girlfriends
That boys just can't let go
The ones that your boy
Would leave you for, you know

Yeah, she may say she loves you
But she can't love you like I can
And until you admit she isn't worth it
You're just as unimportant as any other man
